The Homematic IP Wall Thermostat with Humidity Sensor is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and enables direct control of several Homematic IP radiator thermostats in one room.


It can also be used to control Homematic IP underfloor heating controllers. Thanks to wireless communication, the wall thermostat and underfloor heating controller can be linked together without having to lay any cables. Compared to conventional underfloor heating controllers, the use of a Homematic IP underfloor heating controller thus offers significantly less installation effort and at the same time the advantages of intelligent heating control at room level.


The wall thermostat with the dimensions of a light switch can be operated intuitively using a rotary dial.

The temperature, which can be set in 0.5 °C increments, can therefore be set very precisely and then automatically transmitted to the Homematic IP radiator thermostats or underfloor heating controllers. If electric heating devices are used, they can be controlled via the Homematic IP switch socket. With the Homematic IP skill for Amazon Alexa, you can also conveniently control your Homematic IP wall thermostat using voice commands.

The integrated, illuminated display shows the set and actual temperature as well as the humidity determined by the built-in sensor.

When ‘Boost mode’ is activated by briefly pressing the rotary knob, all radiator valves are opened to 80 % over a period of 300 seconds, allowing the room to heat up quickly. The countdown to the end of the rapid heating programme is shown on the wall thermostat display. In addition, the wall thermostat supports individual temperature sequences with up to 13 changes per day in 3 or 6 adjustable heating profiles (3x heating/3x cooling).

The Homematic IP wall thermostat is easy to install. Thanks to the power supply with two AAA batteries and wireless communication, the wall thermostat can be placed anywhere in the room. Suitable screws and plugs as well as a set of double-sided adhesive tape are supplied for this purpose. If the wall thermostat is to be placed on an existing flush-mounted box, suitable mounting holes are provided in the mounting frame. Integration into multiple frames from other manufacturers is also possible.
