The Homematic IP Wired bus cable adapter is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and enables the transition from bus cables with MOLEX Ultra-Fit connectors to individual bus cables without connectors. Homematic IP Wired flush-mounted devices, which are distributed throughout the house, can also be connected to the Homematic IP Wired system using the bus cable adapter.

For this purpose, the adapter has a socket suitable for the Homematic IP Wired system on one side of the device, while the other side has four terminal connections for cables with a cross-section of up to 0.2 - 1.5 mm². If required, the adapter can be attached directly to the top-hat rail. The Wago top-hat rail adapter (Wago Art. 209-137), which can be attached to both the adapter and the top-hat rail without tools, is ideal for this purpose.
