Homematic IP Wired switch actuator - 4 channels #152419A0

The Homematic IP Wired switch actuator - 4 channels is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and switches connected loads via four potential-free, independent channels.

The maximum switching capacity is up to 3680 watts per channel and can vary depending on the load type. While the relays can be loaded with 1500 W when incandescent lamps or HV halogen lamps are connected, for example, the value is reduced to 200 W for lamps with internal ballast (LEDs/compact fluorescent lamps). In addition to lamps, electrical radiators and other electrical heating systems with ohmic loads can also be switched via the wired switching actuator. The relays can be loaded with 8 A each. The maximum permissible switching capacity can be found in the product data sheet.

A Homematic IP Wired Access Point is required to operate the switch actuator. When using a Homematic IP Wired input module, the connected lamps can be operated using conventional, wired push-buttons. Combination with Homematic IP wireless push-buttons or remote controls is possible via the CCU3 smart home control centre and, in future, alternatively via the cloud solution with the Homematic IP Access Point (free app control).

On the construction site, for example, commissioning and operation can also be carried out directly on the device without an internet connection. The Homematic IP Wired switching actuator has a large, illuminated display and device buttons for this purpose.

The bus cables are connected without screws using easy-to-operate spring-cage terminals and prefabricated bus cables with MOLEX Ultra-Fit connectors. The standby energy consumption of the Homematic IP Wired Switch Actuator is a particularly low 60 milliwatts.

Product features

1. switches connected loads (e.g. lamps or electric radiators) on or off via four potential-free, independent channels

2. convenient commissioning and operation without an Internet connection directly on the top-hat rail device thanks to the large, illuminated LC display and device buttons.

3. flexible control of connected lamps via conventional wired push-buttons (HmIPW-DRI16 or -DRI32) or via Homematic IP wireless push-buttons and remote controls is possible by integrating additional system components.

4. particularly simple, time-saving and screwless installation thanks to spring-cage terminals and MOLEX Ultra-Fit connectors for the bus connection.

5. a Homematic IP Wired Access Point is required for operation. The wired system can be controlled via the CCU3 central control unit, via the Homematic IP Access Point and via many partner solutions.
