Advantages of engraving
With engraving, print or adhesive inscription there are different techniques to mark a button.
In contrast to adhesive inscription, engraving on a KNX switch stands out due to its durability, as it is not worn away over time by cleaning work. The engraving will remain in the same quality for years to come.
The customer projects of our integrators have also shown that engraved KNX switches are particularly convincing due to their simple elegance, which is not achieved by print lettering.
How can I have my KNX buttons engraved?
For the engraving of KNX buttons (see Tense) you need the following things:
- A dimensioned drawing of the switch
We will be happy to provide you with them. - Vector-based symbols
The CNC machines can only "draw" vector-based symbols. If you do not have vector-based templates, we will be happy to create them for you. - Place symbols
The symbols are then placed on the dimensioned drawing.
Engraving the switches extends the delivery time by one week. Subsequent engraving is also possible.
