With the official DoorBird 3D configurator, you can design your door intercom or mailbox system according to your requirements. You define the construction type, modules, finish and equipment directly in the tool. Once the configuration is complete, we are notified, review your selection and prepare a quotation that you can then order from us.

The following examples show different versions of DoorBird door intercom systems, integrated mailbox systems and columns. They serve as guidance for construction type, material selection and module combinations. Each illustrated version can be individually adapted in the configurator.

Individual door communication and mailbox systems

With the official DoorBird 3D configurator, you can plan not only classic IP video door intercom systems, but also integrated mailbox systems, columns and project-specific versions. Each configuration is based on a main unit including camera, motion sensor, audio module and transponder reader module, and is adapted step by step to your construction project.

Depending on the structural situation, different installation types are available, including flush mounting and surface mounting, front panels for existing housings, fence mounting or wall-through installations. Mailboxes with integrated IP video door intercom as well as free-standing columns can also be planned directly in the configurator.

Mailbox and door station as a design unit

In new builds and renovations, the door intercom and mailbox are increasingly implemented as a coherent solution. In the configurator, you can define mailbox systems in stainless steel or various finishes and combine them with call buttons, a keypad, a fingerprint reader or RFID modules.

Single-family home, apartment building or commercial property: the number of call buttons, access control modules and optional displays can be defined according to the project. The result is a technically well-designed solution that integrates harmoniously into the architecture.

Modules, access control and extensions

A range of modules is available, including illuminated call buttons, keypads for PIN codes, preparations for fingerprint readers and accessible operating elements. Displays for resident directories or touch displays with extended access functions can also be integrated.

Via the integration box, various access control modules can also be integrated. The configurator is therefore suitable for private projects as well as more demanding solutions in commercial environments.

Materials, colours and customised execution

Numerous RAL colours as well as different material and surface variants are available for the design, including brushed stainless steel, brass look, bronze look or special coatings. The selected version is visualised immediately in the 3D model and price and delivery information are updated.

Custom labelling options are also available, such as laser engraving, cut-through engraving with acrylic backing or individual printing. This makes it possible to implement house numbers, company names or logos in a durable manner and in keeping with the building.

What happens after configuration

As soon as you have completed the configuration, we review your selection in detail. This ensures that all components are compatible with each other. You will then receive a quotation within two working days. If everything meets your expectations, you can order the system directly from us.
